One of them is Warren Buffet. If you can provide a solid, good, and logical cause, he is willing to give away a slight part of his fortune. After all, he is a philanthropist and he actually wants to help others – others who are really in need and he believes that he isn’t being scammed. He has no problem sharing 99% of his $2.5 billion wealth with others.
In fact, he has joined “The Giving Pledge” which was created by Melinda and Bill Gates. He is also known for giving 20% away from the company’s share to the charity. That 20% is around $2.1 billion – such a lucrative number, isn’t it? As if it weren’t enough, he also likes to give away 4% from his own personal wealth to other social activities.
He is such a wonderful person, isn’t he?

As the founder of Spanx, Blakely is lucky enough to have more fortune than others. In 2012 when she was turning 42, she was awarded the youngest self-made female billionaire. And then in 2013, she joined Gates and Buffet in “The Giving Pledge”.
She is active in The Empowerment Plan, which is a program to help homeless women to get the job they need. She always provides an extra budget from her annual profit to help others.
She also takes part in several social causes, such as Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, set up by Oprah Winfrey and the Leg-Up campaign where she supports female entrepreneurs by featuring the products in her Spanx catalogs. Blakely said that making money is fun, but giving it away and donating it is more empowering.
